“Dear Mental Math Teacher,
Thank you for teaching me math, even though I had A’s. Before I start Mental Math. I wasn’t ahead of everyone. I was on the same level. But when my parents put me in Mental Math, I was starting to go ahead of everyone. Also, when I was in 2nd grade, I passed everything my teacher Mrs Renkon gave me on the time test so she had to give me 3rd grade time test speed drill, but still it was just easy for me because of Mental Math and now I am learning how to multiply with three numbers and learning how to do 2nd level and I’m still ahead of everyone in 3rd grade.”

“I was nervous at first. When I was little my mom and dad took me to a teacher whom I call Mrs. Wong. I worked with her for about a year and a half and as I advanced toward 1st Grade I was one of the best math students. Then all of a sudden I had to quit because I was getting older I had more responsibility.
Now, I’m starting all over again because I missed Mrs. Wong (and I pleaded my mom). So now every Tuesdays she leaves me in the care of Mrs. Wong. I learned step by step again how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. I must admit learning this skill needs patience, concentration and a lot of hard work but like the old saying hard work pays off at the end.”
“I really like challenge a lot. My favorite part is when I get to a new level. It helps me to get my goal in school at math, which is to get 100% on all the papers on my math contract.
They also have an annual competition that is just as well organized as the class. It brings much excitement to everyone present at the competition. It’s a great experience for the kids and it also raises the kids’ self confidence.”
